Firsts

Amy got her first pedicure as a Christmas gift from Kelli. The next day she was vacuuming and ran over her toe. Luckily she did not chip the paint.

Matt with his belt buckle for running 100 miles in less then 24 hrs. Also the nice jacket they gave him.

The boys playing on a big tree trunk that was next to our camp site. We decided that since Matt's race was in Huntsville State Park and we have passes we would just camp the night before there. That way we did not all have to wake up at 4 am to get there in time for the 6 am start.

Drew enjoying not being bundled in a blanket to keep warm. The race this year just happened to be on one our coldest weekends of the year. The days warmed up to be in the 50's but the overnight lows were in the low 30's. We were in a camp site with electricity so I brought an extension cord and my electric blanket from when we lived in Utah. The boys and I slept on the queen mattress under 4 blankets plus our electric blanket.

Nothing like PB and J for lunch.

Matt ready to run almost all night long.

Matt after 40 miles. Getting fueled on soup and coke.

Drew napping after we went to find Matt after his first lap and found out we missed him.

Zack learned that he is big enough to jump down 3 stairs.
