Jumper, potty, toes, and cereal

The things you do with your second that you never did with the first. With Zack, I waited 'til he was almost 6 months before I gave him rice cereal or any other food. Drew turns 5 months in a week and I gave him rice cereal for the first time yesterday. A couple of days ago, Matt gave him banana and he liked it. A few weeks ago, I gave him some bread. He has been really interested in our food for awhile. Today he ate a whole tablespoon worth of cereal I made for him. This is his yesterday's outfit. I left it on him because I could not find the bib. That way he would not get today's clothes dirty so early in the morning.

Yesterday Drew was more interested in eating the bowl than the cereal.

My cute big boy in his booster chair. He has gotten so big.

Zack wanted to be a part of this moment also.

Drew loves to grab his toes.

We have decided to start the joy of potty training. To help out with this process we got Zack a baseball toilet seat and Lightning McQueen pull ups. I am up for any advice you have on how to make this easier.

Drew doing what he loves most: jumping in his jumper.

Zack decided that Drew has so much fun in the jumper that he needed to try it out also. This is how I found him after he called out "momma look".

Family Fun

While Amy was working one Sunday, Matt took the boys to the park in our subdivision. Drew just chilled in the stroller while Zack ran around being wild. Matt also painted Zack's toe nails on his left foot. That is all he would hold still for. Zack got the polish from one of the little girls in our ward that Matt and Zack helped move.

Zack playing in the tunnel. As you can see some of the kids think they need to write great stuff on it.

Zack's new found talent. He went down the slide once and then decided that he was going to climb up it. After a bit of practice and taking off his shoes, he could make it up in about 10 seconds.

Matt put an eye bolt in Zack's room so that we could put Drew's jumper in there while Zack played.

Matt brought in Zack's pop-up tent and put it in his room. He thought it was great. He slept in there for just over a week and then decided that he wanted to sleep in his bed again.

Zack pumping just like mommy. If any of the breast pumping stuff is left on the couch, Zack thinks he needs to use it also.

Family time playing Hungry Hungry Hippos.
Zack thought it was so much fun.

Zack and Drew chilling on the couch together.

Zack setting up the X Box all by himself. He has seen us play and likes to use the controller, too.

Drew loves to watch the fish. He also is a little talker and will talk your ear off sometimes.

Zack got ahold of the camera again. This is the floor in front of his bed.

Zack being shy. Zack was sitting in his chair and said "momma Drew" as he patted on the chair next to him. So I put Drew next to him in his chair.

Drew hanging out in the stroller after our walk. Matt was fixing his bike and it was nice outside so we hung out with him.

Zack running around and playing after our walk.

Look at the big tower Zack built with his blocks. He was so proud of himself.
