Family Fun

While Amy was working one Sunday, Matt took the boys to the park in our subdivision. Drew just chilled in the stroller while Zack ran around being wild. Matt also painted Zack's toe nails on his left foot. That is all he would hold still for. Zack got the polish from one of the little girls in our ward that Matt and Zack helped move.

Zack playing in the tunnel. As you can see some of the kids think they need to write great stuff on it.

Zack's new found talent. He went down the slide once and then decided that he was going to climb up it. After a bit of practice and taking off his shoes, he could make it up in about 10 seconds.

Matt put an eye bolt in Zack's room so that we could put Drew's jumper in there while Zack played.

Matt brought in Zack's pop-up tent and put it in his room. He thought it was great. He slept in there for just over a week and then decided that he wanted to sleep in his bed again.

Zack pumping just like mommy. If any of the breast pumping stuff is left on the couch, Zack thinks he needs to use it also.

Family time playing Hungry Hungry Hippos.
Zack thought it was so much fun.

Zack and Drew chilling on the couch together.

Zack setting up the X Box all by himself. He has seen us play and likes to use the controller, too.

Drew loves to watch the fish. He also is a little talker and will talk your ear off sometimes.

Zack got ahold of the camera again. This is the floor in front of his bed.

Zack being shy. Zack was sitting in his chair and said "momma Drew" as he patted on the chair next to him. So I put Drew next to him in his chair.

Drew hanging out in the stroller after our walk. Matt was fixing his bike and it was nice outside so we hung out with him.

Zack running around and playing after our walk.

Look at the big tower Zack built with his blocks. He was so proud of himself.

Labor Day

Amy had to work the night before so we went out kayaking after her and the boys napped. We had a lot of fun. We drove out to Lake Houston, about 13 miles away. While Amy got the boys ready, Matt got the kayak ready. We were in the water and paddling within ten minutes of getting to the park. We paddled out away and then stopped so we could swim with the boys.

Zack gets his little hands on the camera sometimes and has a blast taking pictures with it. He knows how to turn it on and everything. He is a very talented photographer. As you can tell he loves taking pictures of himself.

Chuck E Cheese

We decided to take the boys to Chuck E Cheese for a night of fun. Zack had a blast even though he was too distracted to play many of the games. There were way too many lights and kids around for him to play on one game for too long. He did enjoy throwing the ball, even though he couldn't roll it into the target. He did walk all the way up to the target once, but the weight sensors detected him and stopped counting points. Luckily for us, one of the games was broken and it just kept giving you balls and tickets without us having to insert any tokens.

Zack demonstrating the "correct" way to throw a skee ball.

Zack racing a car. He raced for about 30 seconds and then was ready to go and play something else. I let a little boy finish Zack's game.

Zack getting all the tickets mommy was winning.

Look at all the tickets we won. With the tickets, we got Zack a stuffed football and a crazy straw.

Fun around the house

The boys are just chilling in the hammock right before Amy and Drew went and had a nap. Amy had worked the night before.

I took Drew and put him down for his nap. When I came downstairs, this is what I found. Zack is a good "baby" at times.

This is our $10 dollar garage sale find. I had told Matt that I wanted to get Zack a Cozy Coupe and a basketball hoop for Christmas. On his morning run, he passed a garage sale that had both. So when he got home, we went over to look at them. Both of them were not that great looking. They did, however, have this train set for $10. When we got it home and put together, we found out that only a few pieces (just trees and people, not trains) were missing. Zack loves it and would play with it all day everyday if it did not get put away every now and then.

Zack playing with the cats. He was having so much fun and laughing so hard that I thought he was going to fall down.
