Matt's big run.

Josh

Nathan was a little tired.

Josh handing off to Matt.

One of Matt's hand offs. He just finished his first of 6 legs. This one was only 3.1 miles. Matt and 9 other people ran a 180 mile relay race from San Antonio to Fredericksburg and over to Austin. Each team was made up of 12 people. Matt's team had a couple people drop out close to race time so they only ran with 10 people. Matt ran his and another guy's legs of the race. They all had a great time. Matt was very sore and tired; he only ran 33 miles at an average pace of 7:55 per mile. They placed 10th out of 41 teams finishing the 180 miles in 26 hours and 6 minutes. Matt enjoyed it and wants to do it again next year.

Pretty shoes.

Zack wanted his friend Ella's shoes on. Isn't he so beautiful?

Dance party at Josh and Xan's house. Zack loves to dance with Josh.

Am I in trouble?

We do not know how he did it. He climbed up all on his own.

Trick or treat.

What a cute little lion. Zack enjoying some snack size rice cakes.

It was a little warm so we had to take the top off while playing inside.

Sharing is good.

Zack sharing with Tornado. Tornado had to have surgery on his swollen ear. He was feeling picked on so Zack shared his cheetos.

Zack playing in his new favorite spot. On top of the potty box.

Big news.

Zack wanted you to know that he loves Oreo cookies, as you can tell by his mouth.

Also he is waiting for his new play mate. Yes, Zack is going to have a brother or sister. Our little one is due on May 15th.

Zack sending out kisses.

Playing in the rain.

It had been raining all day. Matt came home and asked Zack if he wanted to play outside. I did not think he would since he does not like water falling on him. To my surprise, he had a blast. He did not want to go in when it was time.

Two is better than one.

Zack thought he needed both of his sippy cups. He would take a sip from the one with milk and then the one with water.

Some of Ike's damage.

The house across from our friend Josh's house. The tree in their back yard fell on their house.

We got our power back eight days after Ike came ashore. It was like Christmas. I was so excited. The first thing that Matt did was vacuum the downstairs.

Playing

Playing with his new toys.
My little boxer.

Zack and Kaesley after a walk in his new wagon. I found it for 25 dollars. He loves it.

Playing at the house.

Hanging out at the house with the cats. It cooled down into the 70's so we were able to open the windows. It made not having power a little bit easier.

Playing in the window.

Living at Josh and Xan's house.

Zack enjoying watermelon. We figured that if we were out of power we might as well be with friends.
Before.
After.

The big bad monster.

Big boy swing.

Zack swinging in a big boy swing. The little girl is Zack's friend Kaesley. Kaesley is 3 years old.
He would not get off the swing for anything.
Zack and his friend Ella. Ella is 19 months.
Matt sweeping off Josh's roof while the kids played.

Zack swinging.

Just a couple bites.

Matt went out to help clean up. He did not know that fire ants were biting him. He was having too much fun. We never counted them all but there must have been at least 50.

"Mommy take a picture of my feet also."

Fun after Ike.

Zack found some water to play in. The morning after Ike it rained some more.
