More fun at Fairfield Lake State Park

Amy kayaking with Zack after he fell asleep.
Amy and Zack playing in the water with his tub turtle.
Nap time after all the fun in the water.
I only need one shoe as long as I have the cooler. Too bad it is on the wrong foot.
Mommy, can I have the camera?

Camping in Fairfield Lake State Park

Zack having another nap.
One of the armadillos we saw.
He was so busy looking for food that he did not care that we were there.
Zack getting a ride.
There is nothing like my daddy, burp cloth and thumb.

Camping in Fairfield Lake State Park

Hanging out at camp.
The lake at sunset.
Zack and I walking down to the water's edge.

Zack in the morning playing with one of his many rocks.

Enchanted Rock

The boys hiking and talking.
Matt and Zack climbing to the top of Enchanted Rock.
We made it to the top. Yes, I hiked to the top in flip flops. I thought Matt had packed my shoes and he thought I had. After 6 years, sometimes we still do not communicate too well.

Camping at Enchanted Rock

We got to Enchanted Rock at 11:30 pm, so we just put a tarp on the ground and slept under the stars.
Zack loves to eat shoes.
Zack and Matt climbing a rock. Zack is in a backpack that a friend gave us.
.
Zack fell asleep while hiking. Matt took him off so he could climb a steep rock.

Uncle Jon came to visit.

Zack, Jon, and Matt went to a baseball game while Amy slept. She worked the night before and had to go back that night.
Matt and Jon getting the kayaks ready to go.
Zack and our friend Carrie. Carrie has two kayaks, so there were enough for all of us. Zack did not like it. He cried until he fell asleep.

Zack enjoying watermelon.

Zack was happy to have a watermelon break. He was not sure about the whole swimming thing. It was his first time since he was 3 months old. He cried when daddy tried to put him in his hippo (water float).

Matt's science field trip.

Matt went on a week-long science fieldtrip the week after school let out. He said it was a lot of fun, but Zack and I missed him.

Zack enjoying his swing.

How much pancake can you fit in your mouth?

Zack feeding himself a pancake. If it is on the tray, he will put it in, no matter how much is already in his mouth.

Look what I can do.

Zack decided that if he could climb the stairs that maybe he could climb up the cat tower. He is getting too smart.

I love daddy's hammock

Zack loves to sit in the hammock and swing.

Playing with pillows.

This is why my pillows are never on the bed.

Fun with water balloons.

Zack and his water balloon at his friend Allison's birthday party. She turned two.
Zack, his water balloon and mommy. Mommy and Xan lost the water balloon toss to Josh and daddy. Mommy got a little wet.
This is what happens when you bite your water balloon too much.

I found two chairs that are just my size.

Zack likes to sit in one of the rocking chairs that Babi gave to us.
Zack in his new camping chair.
Zack in his camping chair with his new shoes on. Zack wanted to walk into Wal-Mart on his own, so I decided that it was time to buy him a couple pairs of shoes.

Our house is falling.

Water was leaking through the A/C vent in our kitchen ceiling.
The repair guy had me turn the tempurature down to 75 degrees. Instead of a drip it became a waterfall. I guess we're lucky that we have the A/C set at 80 degrees.
Yes, we found the problem. Some electrician put two holes in the PVC pipe that drains the water from the A/C and decided to not tell anyone. Way to go.
The repair man fixed it. Did he make a big enough hole in the bedroom wall? It is about 3 feet high and 1 foot wide. My warranty had expired so I had to pay the 192 dollars to get it fixed. We have no idea why it did not leak before this. We have been in the house for two years. I am having my builder come fix the ceiling, wall, and hopefully pay the bill since it happened before we bought the house. He is coming out today, so we will see what he says.
Our hole was as big as a quarter. Then you can see the drill bit size hole below it.

Zack learning how to walk.

Just being cute.

Zack was giving the frog hugs. Of course he refused to do it for the camera.
Daddy trying to take a picture of the big bruise on his head above his left eyebrow. It is from slipping on the curtains and hitting the window.

Darwin loves Zack.

Our friend's dog Darwin loves Zack. We are not sure how Zack feels. When Darwin kisses him, he will push him away. Then as soon as Darwin goes somewhere else, Zack will go after him. He is not used to this much attention at home. The cats all run from him.
