Look out the window.

Zack has found that the window in the front room is low enough for him to look out.

Look what daddy taught me.

Matt thought it would be fun to teach Zack how to climb the stairs. This is what happens when mommy works two days in a row. We will see if daddy is left in charge anymore.

Now, since he can crawl and get into everything, he is usually contained in the living room.

Outrageous Gas Prices!

Our gas prices 'shot up' from $2.79 about 2 weeks ago. This is the first time we have EVER had to pay over three dollars for gas. It was a sad day for me. I tried putting it off as long as possible- hoping that the price would come down. But it didn't look like that would be happening.

Zack on the move.

He cannot crawl but he can still get around. Along with rolling, he has learned to army crawl. It is all arms and toes pushing off.

Zack at Ten months.

Look mommy- I can sit myself up.
Since he turned 10 months he thinks he can do all of these new things. He can now sit himself up not only in his crib but anywhere. I dropped his mattress all the way down, just in case standing up is the next trick he masters in his crib.
I picked him up from a friend's house yesterday and he took 5 steps while holding on to my fingers. I usually have to move his feet for him.

The weather in Texas.

The weather has been great. We have spent a lot of our weekends outside. This was last Sunday. It was 75 degrees. Zack played on our jean blanket that Mom Zmolek made. Matt and I played bocce ball.

The vampire will suck your blood.

Zack right before his left front tooth comes through. If you look close you can kind of see it.

It is a little blurry but you can see all 4 of his teeth.

Silly cats.

Max decided to have a nap in Zack's toy box. most of the cats will not get very close to Zack.
All 12 cats eating breakfast. Yes we have a dozen.

9 months at play

Zack turned nine months on the 23rd of January. He now weighs 25 lbs 10 onces. That is 98% for his age. 29 1/2 inches long. That is 75% for his age. He cannot crawl yet. But do not think he does not get into trouble. He rolls anywhere his little heart wants to.
He is playing with the box that Jen and Brian sent our dance dance revolution pads in.
Zack loves it when daddy hangs him upside down. He also likes to put his bib or burp rag as far as he can in his mouth.

I love to play in the bathroom.

Zack loves to roll around. He found an open shower door to play with.
Zack was rolling the drawers around the bathroom. It is usually next to the toilet.
He found out how to open the drawers and all of the fun stuff mom has in it.
Mommy put one of her head bands on on Zack's head.
