The joy of rain in Texas. We got 8 inches of rain in 24 hours. This is what happens. There was a little bit of flooding. This is Cypress creek and the Arboretum that is 2 miles from our house. We did not get any flooding. There were parts of downtown Houston that had submerged cars and trucks. Also some of the freeways were closed because of flooding.
